We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, such as health information, through our free downloads or products.
If you choose to provide personal information to us voluntarily, such as in an email or other communication, we will use that information only as reasonably necessary to respond to you or provide the relevant service.
3. How We Use Your Information

4. Legal Bases for Processing Your Information
Under GDPR, we process personal information only where we have a lawful basis to do so.
Depending on the circumstances, our legal bases may include:
Contract: We may need to process your information to provide a product or service you have purchased or requested, process your order, or provide customer support.
Legal obligation: We may process information where necessary to comply with legal obligations, including accounting, tax, financial, or other regulatory requirements.
Consent: Where you have specifically chosen to receive marketing communications, we rely on your consent to send those communications. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Legitimate interests: We may process limited information where necessary for legitimate business interests, such as maintaining the security of our store, preventing fraud, responding to inquiries, and improving our products and services, provided that these interests do not override your privacy rights.

If you do not provide marketing consent, we will not add you to our marketing email sequences.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in our emails or by contacting us at momforbrains@gmail.com.
Withdrawing your marketing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before you withdrew your consent.
6. Our Service Providers
We use trusted third-party services to operate Mom for Brains and provide our products and services.
These may include:
Stan Store
We use Stan Store to host our online store, provide digital products and downloads, and facilitate customer interactions and transactions.
Stan may process information such as your name, email address, purchase information, and technical information in order to provide its services.
Stripe
We use Stripe to process payments.
When you make a purchase, information necessary to process the transaction may be shared with Stripe. Stripe may process information such as your name, email address, payment information, IP address, and other information necessary for payment processing, fraud prevention, and related services.
Stripe may act as a data processor or data controller depending on the specific processing activity. You can learn more about Stripe’s privacy practices in its Privacy Policy.
MailerLite
We use MailerLite to store marketing subscribers and send automated email sequences and other marketing communications.
If you have opted into marketing communications, your email address and other relevant subscriber information may be transferred to MailerLite so that we can send you the communications you requested.
MailerLite acts as a data processor for subscriber information that we provide to it. MailerLite’s current Data Processing Addendum addresses GDPR requirements and international data transfers.
Zapier
We use Zapier to connect our store and email marketing systems and automate certain processes.
For example, when you opt into marketing communications after downloading a free resource, Zapier may transfer relevant information, such as your name, email address, and marketing subscription status, from Stan to MailerLite.
Zapier may process information in the United States and other countries where it or its service providers operate. Zapier states that it uses applicable safeguards for international transfers, including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
These service providers may process personal information on our behalf only as necessary to provide their services, subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.
7. Payments and Financial Information
When you purchase a product, payment information is processed by our payment provider, Stripe.
We do not receive or store your full payment card number or payment card security code.
Stripe handles payment processing and related activities such as fraud prevention and transaction security.
We may retain information about your purchase, such as the product purchased, purchase date, amount paid, and contact information, where necessary for customer service, accounting, tax, legal, or business purposes.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our online store is hosted and operated through third-party platforms, including Stan Store.
These platforms may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to operate the website, provide security, remember preferences, process transactions, or understand how their services are used.
We may also use tracking technologies provided by our service providers as part of their services.
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or Pinterest Tag on our own behalf.
Because some cookies and similar technologies may be controlled by third-party platforms that operate our store, the types of cookies used may change as those services are updated.
9. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
The length of time we keep information depends on the type of information and why we collected it.
For example:
- Marketing subscriber information is generally kept while you remain subscribed or until it is no longer reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
- Purchase and transaction information may need to be retained for longer periods to comply with accounting, tax, legal, or other regulatory obligations.
- Customer support communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain appropriate business records, or resolve disputes.
When personal information is no longer needed and we are not legally required to retain it, we will delete it or otherwise securely dispose of it where reasonably possible.
10. International Transfers
Some of the service providers we use may process personal information outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Where personal information is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable data protection law, which may include an adequacy decision, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
Our service providers may update their subprocessors or processing locations from time to time. Their applicable privacy policies and data processing agreements provide additional information about their current practices.
For example, MailerLite states that transfers outside the EEA are subject to appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten / IMY) if you believe your personal information has been handled unlawfully.
12. Children’s Privacy
MomforBrains creates resources for parents and caregivers. Our products and services are intended for adults.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children for the purpose of providing our products or marketing communications.
If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at momforbrains@gmail.com so that we can take appropriate steps.
13. Third-Party Links
Our products, emails, or website may occasionally contain links to third-party websites, products, services, or resources that we believe may be useful.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of third-party websites.
We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party website you visit.
14. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no method of transmitting or storing information electronically can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Where we use third-party service providers to process personal information, we rely on those providers to maintain appropriate technical and organizational security measures for the services they provide.
